Eastern Boundary

6th March 2024

A foray to the east of the forecast area today and the Drumochter hills.  There is still a considerable amount of snow lying on northerly facing slopes such as Sgairneach Mor and the impressive Coire Creagach. An overcast day with a sharp easterly wind but Geall Charm provides a fantastic panorama – but with only an occasional glimpse of the surrounding hills today.

Drumochter pass and the snow filled gully of Meall a Chaorainn.

Looking toward the Ben Alder peaks and Loch Pattack from Geal Charn
